From Virginia at Bluebird Productions: “I wanted to share this never-before-seen shoot we recently did in Malibu, California. The inspiration for the shoot was salt and of the earth. Laura and I partnered with some of our favorite vendors in California to create this shoot: La Petite Gardenia for the unique florals, Archive Rentals for the tables, benches and more!, Bliss and Bone for the white leather invitations, menus and muslin bags of salt for escort cards, Vanilla Bake shop’s unique airbrushed salty cake, and The Amy Clarke for amazing hair and make up!

The table top items were hand selected from some of our favorite stores to create a totally specific and customized look. Our models were clothed in gowns the color of salt. Movement and fluidity was very important to us. Lastly, anywhere we could incorporate the many shapes, sizes and colors of salt we did: salt blocks to frame paper goods, salt in the sand, salt around the base of the cake and on the table.”
